5 Reasons Why You Should Be Working Out At Night

Mornings are meant for sleeping.

Not everyone was created the same. Some people find early mornings to be really productive as there are the least number of distractions. They feel they have the most energy in the morning and hence this should be the best time for working out.

These people want to get a workout in when the others are sleeping. They want to stay ahead of the curve by getting the exercise out of the way first thing in the morning. Fasted cardio and its benefits just add to the delight.

On the other hand, there are people like us. People who dread waking up early in the morning to go to the gym. For us lifting a cup of coffee is like curling a dumbbell. We are not made for the mornings, nights are our saviors.

Like with many others things concerning working out, there are misconceptions you shouldn’t be working out late in the evening. Broscientists claim exercising in the evening isn’t as effective as doing it in the morning. All of this is complete BS!

1. You’ll Sleep Better

People think working out late in the evening will keep you up all night. They think the hyper state you have in the gym will carry forward throughout the night. This is also one of the biggest reasons why most people hit the gym in the morning.

This is not the true. On the contrary, if you’re pushing yourself in the gym, you will be completely exhausted at the end of your workouts. You will fall asleep the moment you hit the sack and be out cold for the entire night.
