A small adjustment to your leggings and a different post can make a world of difference!

Let’s face it girls, we live in a world where appearance is everything. If this wasn’t true, you wouldn’t be carrying your make-up with you in your bag right now!

But due to the recent boost of popularity in fitness, now more than ever, women are trying to achieve a perky booty and toned stomach.

Part of this is due to many girls following fitness models and bloggers on Instagram; they take amazing pictures of themselves, popping the booty they’ve spend years working on, inspiring countless girls to embark on their fitness journey.

Well, it seems that even these fitness models can fool you into thinking they’re ‘better’ than they are.

Don’t get us wrong, these girls are still wayyy fitter than the average female, but it’s true that taking pictures at certain angles can ‘improve’ their figure.

AmieJaneFit

One girl who’s personally took it upon herself to encourage other females to continue working hard on their booty, is AmieJaneFit.

Who is AmieJaneFit?

Her real name is Amie-Jane Ward, and she’s a 25-year-old fitness Instagrammer from Buckinghamshire, London (UK).

We consider her as a real inspiration for the everyday girl; she’s taken the responsibilities of being a mother like a BOSS, while still managing to sculpt an incredible body.

But the main thing we like about AmieJaneFit, is that she takes pictures proving that what you see, isn’t always real on Instagram.

‼️ME 10% vs ME 90% ‼️ Yup!!! Truth!!! Im only ever posed flat stomach, have a booty 10% of the day! 90% of the day when I'm relaxed not posing I have rolls, bloat and no butt! TRUTH! That doesn't make me less beautiful than the left picture it is just life & 99% of Instagram is the same! NOTE: love who you are most of the time not the small percentage where you've done your make up added a filter and posed! You are beautiful in every way so embrace that! .. .. .. .. #throwbackthursday #thursday #happy #love #transformation #beautiful #instafit #instagood #fitfamuk #fitspo #motivation #fitnessjourney #progress #fitnessblogger #physique #girlsthatlift #fitnessgirl #girlswhosquat #bikinifitness #strongnotskinny #gainingweightiscool #bodybuilding #squats #inspiration #fitnessmotivation #strengthfeed #myprotein #gains #like4like

Even though she evidently has a figure that most girls dream about achieving, she still gives her followers the stone-cold truth; that even girls with abs have rolls and look bloated most of the time.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Amie said: “I used to look at fitness bloggers that I look up to and wish I had their bodies.

“But I learned that Instagram is a very fabricated platfrm where we only post the best snippets of our lives!

“I still pose because that’s the done deal, but I just wanted my followers to know that Instagram isn’t really life and isn’t always the truth.”

High Waisted Trousers & Leggings Are Your Best Friend

If you look at the majority of fitness models on Instagram, you’ll notice that most of them wear high waisted trousers and leggings.

In fact, the only ones that don’t, are the females sporting bulging 6-packs with an extremely low body fat percentage that most of us don’t really want to cut down to.

So why do most girls wear high waisted bottoms?

Well, this is because they help ‘tuck’ everything in and make you look more curvaceous. It also emphasizes your booty, if you pull certain poses and take your picture at specific angles too.

The truth is that many of us hold fat on our waist, and wearing leggings can cause even a tiny bit of fat to ‘bulge’.

See AmieJaneFit’s post below for an example:

‼️ HIGH WAISTED vs LOW WAISTED ‼️ So here I am literally 30seconds apart and a little pull down of the leggings! Same girl, same day, same minute! People will comment "oh another attention post" 🤣🙄 little do they know that the lower part of my stomach & hips 'love handles' WERE my biggest insecurity on my body! The one thing I would constantly try and cover up with high waisted erryyythanggg! And no not just because that's where I mainly store my fat but also because I have stretch marks from being pregnant! 😊 I love being honest with you guys showing you that clothing, posing, posture, lighting can change the look of someone's body. High waisted gives the illusion of curves and just tucks everything together… where as low waisted if tight can dig into my hip fat and make it bulge which can see unflattering… But both are completely fine I just feel more comfortable in high waisted! — I am working hard to get to where I wanna be for myself not for anyone else & I started this fitness account firstly to motivate myself to carry on and see my own progress but I am also so happy that I have been able to help inspire & motivate others & help others who are not confident about themselves. 😊 i will always be honest with you guys because I believe you deserve to see what is real! 😘I can guarantee that the girls you are inspired by on social media have or have had parts of their body they dislike. We all do… hey we girls! But we can change that with a little hard work and dedication in time you will be closer to the body you want but only you can do it & remember it's not an over night things it's gonna take time but I guarantee you will fall in love with the process. ✌🏻 here's to high waisted leggings & hard work 😂 HAPPY MONDAY xoxo • • • • #girlsthatlift #fitfamuk #fitnessgirl #girlswhosquat #fitspo #mondaymotivation #instafit #booty #bikinifitness #strongnotskinny #gainingweightiscool #bodybuilding #cleaneating #transformation #reality #loveyourself #inspiration #fitnessmotivation #instadaily #monday #gymshark #strengthfeed #happy #gains #love #motivation #like4like

Conclusion

When your trying so hard to lose fat and get toned, sometimes looking into the mirror can be quite demotivating.

Certain angles make you think that you haven’t actually made any progress, so it’s important that you take progress pictures every few weeks – so you can keep track of your transformation and remind yourself that your succeeding.

Don’t be discouraged by looking at your favorite fitness models online. Instead, try to replicate their poses and see how you look much better in pictures yourself.

Ultimately, if you’re putting in the hard work and consuming less calories than you use, remember that it’s impossible to not lose fat.

So keep up your commitment and continue on your fitness journey. Because in a year or so, you’ll be very pleased with the results.
