CrossFit has quickly taken the fitness world by storm, and who doesn’t love extreme fitness chicks? They are everywhere kicking some serious ass! Here are a couple of famous Crossfit athletes who are inspirations to all of us!

1. Sara Sigmundsdottir
This 22-year-old from Iceland is classified as a CrossFit amateur. However, her raw talent and amount of dedication applied to her training makes her one of the best in the world. She really doesn’t know how good she is, but she’s placed first in the International Games and has her eye on the 2015 CrossFit Games. Valerie is a 36-year-old mom, full-time teacher, and CrossFit athlete. Placing fifth in the 2012 CrossFit games just months after delivering a baby girl, she is proof that fit chicks can do it all! When asked how she manages such a busy lifestyle, she talks about her rigorous scheduling, and her family’s support system. This 25-year-old athlete from Australia can teach us a valuable lesson about listening to our bodies and putting safety first. During the 2014 CrossFit Games, Kara withdrew due to her back injury. Though, she was likely to take second place. Her recovery had taken quite a while, but was used to focus on clean eating and becoming a well-rounded athlete. Elisabeth is a 36-year-old mother and considers herself a CrossFit athlete and a secondary weightlifter. She supports the Train 4 Autism organization and is also competing in the 2015 Crossfit Games. A lifelong gymnast, Elisabeth has recently made the switch to CrossFit after a knee injury. She advocates letting go of rigid training and embracing a flexible attitude towards self-image and focuses on clean eating. Labeled as the “fittest woman in the world,” this 25-year-old from Iceland has won the CrossFit Games twice and has never finished below second. Damn. The name of her game is perseverance. Lindsey is a seasoned CrossFitter and an olympic weightlifter, and she’s only 28! Talk about making the most of your twenties. Camille, a 26-year-old CrossFitter from Canada, won the 2014 CrossFit Games, competing a total of four times. Woah! She is one of the top ten CrossFit athletes in the world. Camille schedules her rest days, like most athletes, for four days out of the month or more. She also allows herself 1-3 cheat meals a week. You go, girl!
